The pitch

An underground first-person automation game about carving alien caves into connected mining, smelting, power, and assembly systems.

How it plays

Techtonica gives factory automation a strong exploration hook by placing production inside a luminous underground cave network. Progress depends on scanning technology, digging out usable rooms, placing miners and smelters, organizing belts, expanding power, and automating parts while the environment slowly opens into larger spaces. The underground setting changes the feel of the genre: visibility, elevation, tunnels, and limited build areas make layout choices more architectural than a flat-grid factory. It works well solo or in co-op, especially for players who want a narrative-tinged factory game where exploration and production upgrades keep tugging each other forward.
